UV on acrylic
A glossy UV print on a white acrylic sheet, with raised varnish catching the lamp. Colour sits on the plastic, not in it.
Acrylic is unforgiving. Dust shows, and a thin ink film looks cheap. This job uses a white underbase where needed, then colour, then a varnish pass so the image has weight.
The sheet stays on the flatbed until the last lamp pass. Registration between white, CMYK, and varnish is the whole craft. One slip and the gloss sits beside the colour instead of on it.
