Engrave
Walnut plaque
A fiber-laser emblem burned into walnut — smoke-dark edges, the mark sitting in the grain rather than on it.
Wood engraving is a conversation with the grain. The emblem is drawn as a vector, then the laser is tuned so the burn is deep enough to read and shallow enough not to tear the walnut.
No fill colour, no varnish — the piece is the mark and the timber. Pre-press here means a clean path, a test burn on scrap, then the plaque.
