Metal marking
A fiber laser marking metal, the beam writing a geometric emblem into the surface.
Metal marking is the other half of the laser bench. Power and speed are set so the mark is dark and permanent without warping the plate.
The artwork is a vector again, but the material answers differently than wood or acrylic. This is the process behind plaques, tags, and small corporate marks on steel.
