Create Editable Text Effect 3D Rise in Adobe Illustrator

3D Rise uses Illustrator’s Extrude effect on live type. Depth, perspective, and light are set in the effect dialog so the extrusion updates the moment you change the word or the font.

Keep it editable

Do not expand. The Appearance keeps the type as type, so kerning and weight can still be tuned while the 3D block follows. Save the effect as a Graphic Style to reuse it across a whole title system.
